Research and Development are reasons why we're among the best. We host a non-exhaustive library of all important questions you've ever had about the Black Soldier Fly larvae. As the Biology Intern, you will work with the R&D Team to find out what works, and what doesn't in insect farming. For example, which feed composition (texture, ingredients, nutritional value, microbe co-fermentation) best supports larvae development in their different stages? Analyse effects of environmental variables on operational metrics, like day-night cycles, atmospheric pressure, light spectrum, ventilation, emissions etc.

You role as an Biology intern will make meaningful research discoveries, Making Insects Work for You and the World. Interns will be given a project to manage, report and present by the end of the internship period. We’re flexible to adjust the project based on your interests and skills.

This internship runs for 3-6 months.
